Day three of Social Media Week Glasgow for me.
Turned up to the Think different events special extra #smwgla Business Banter in the morning feeling terrible.
You know what they do to Guantanamo inmates where they wake them up and move them to somewhere else to deprive them of sleep?
Yes? Well that’s been my week so far but without dressing in Tangerine.
Business Banter normally is just a room below a coffee shop full of folk talking about their business,
It’s very free form and welcoming with no real rules or fees and I don’t get the feeling that there’s any office politics at work here that you’d find at other networking groups.
I also met up with Stuart Russell who’s been working like a trojan shooting this all week.
Check out his daily gallery on his site.
This week it’s slightly different as they have a stage and 6 speakers each given 6 minutes to talk about how they use social media in their business.
Today they were Lesley Wood from Targeting Innovation, Katy Nisbet from Simpson & Marwick Solictors, Chris Davidson from Harper Macleod, David Morgan from Burness LLP, Mark Hunter from Tartan Medi, Brian Inkster from Inksters Solicitors
I ran a gauntlet of charity fund raisers to get down to my next event of the day.
IPAy no attention to the man behind Twitter.

Hera Hussain (above), Louise Graham, Sharon Comrie & Frank McGowan spoke about engaging with your audience on twitter.
They were full of tips and words of wisdom backed up by their actual real world experiences.

Wish I could have hung around to hear more but I had to dash off before the end.
I decided not to do anything on Thursday, except updating my site and processing photos, oh and sleep of course.
I’d been up so long I could swear that Glasgow Royal Concert hall was shouting at me. No-one else in the street seemed o notice.
Friday will be my next and final day at Social Media Week Glasgow.
So look forward to Alan Bissett, deliberately blurry photos and dj’s.
Probably.
